The world ended on September the eleventh in the yeat two thousand and one. What is left, what we live in is new. It is not the world of classical times, it is not even the world of twenty years ago. Our existence began on september the eleventh.
Media has merged with reality. Fact and fiction no longer have clear divisions. Art, entertainment, paranoia, perversion, humour etc have all merged into one. Television lies to us, newspapers lie to us, governments lie to us and we, the post9/11 denizens have chosen to embrace a new global way of life. We have entered virtual life.

From mere angelfire and facebook to the dreamlike state of being found in SecondLife, we are now provided with endless possibilities for communication, for art, entertainment, paranoia, perversion, humour etc. On the internet we have access to unlimited information and unlimited culture.
